Good to know: The Matter model works with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home through the Matter standard — Matter is not the same as HomeKit certification. App and voice control require an active internet connection: if your Wi-Fi or hub goes offline, smart control is unavailable until the connection is restored, and models with a physical remote can still be operated by remote.
Motorized components, remotes, smart hubs, bridges, chargers, and batteries are not covered by the free Measurement Assurance program. Measurement Assurance only applies to shade/blind sizing issues.
Measure your window carefully before ordering. For inside mount, enter the exact window opening size and we will make the necessary deduction for a proper fit. For outside mount, add extra width and height for better coverage and light blocking.
Inside Mount: Measure the Width
- Measure the inside width of your window frame at the top, middle, and bottom.
- Use the narrowest measurement as your order width.
- If your measurement is not exactly on a 1/8" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8".
- Enter the exact window opening width. We will make the necessary deduction for a proper fit.
Inside Mount: Measure the Height
- Measure the inside height of your window frame at the left, middle, and right.
- Use the longest measurement as your order height.
- If your measurement is not exactly on a 1/8" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8".
- Enter this number as your order height.
Outside Mount: Measure the Width
- Measure the width of the area you want to cover.
- We recommend adding 3 inches total for better coverage and light blocking.
- Enter the final width as your order width.
Outside Mount: Measure the Height
- Measure from the top of where you want the shade to start to where you want it to end.
- We recommend adding 3 inches above the window frame if space allows.
- Enter the final height as your order height.

Because each shade is custom-made to your selected size, fabric, mount type, and control options, custom products cannot be returned or exchanged due to incorrect measurements, wrong color selection, or change of mind. However, genuine measuring mistakes within ±1 inch per dimension may qualify for a one-time free remake under our FREE Measurement Assurance.
To help avoid ordering mistakes, we recommend double-checking your measurements and ordering free fabric samples before placing a custom order.

These shades are ridiculously easy to install and well made. Worth it to buy these direct (I ordered some from Amazon and they arrived damaged and missing parts): the customer service through the Aosky website was prompt, helpful and polite! For context: I work in a busy street-level storefront. These shades block the light coming out at night so that I can work with privacy. They also reduce temperature during the day. Quick retractible action for when you do need light.
