How to choose inside & outside mount?

Inside-mounted mount inside the window casing, and do not cover the window molding.

Outside-mounted are mounted on the wall and cover the window molding.

Inside mount:

  1. Enough window depth {secure install-100% cover the brackets flush Install-＞60% cover the brackets}
  2. For a clean, built-in look
  3. Blends perfectly with the wall

Outside mount:

  1. Irregular shape and not enough window depth
  2. Full cover the window frame, Max light-blocking
  3. Brittle window frame material

Inside mount measuring instructions

1. Measure the Depth
Measure the window frame depth to ensure the product is a perfect fit for your windows.

2. Measure the Width
Measure the window frame at Top A, middle B, and Bottom C. Pick the smallest measurement.

3. Measure the Height

Measure the window frame at left D, middle E, and bottom F. Pick the largest measurement.

Note on Deduction:

Don't make any deductions. We will make all the necessary deductions based on the measurements you provided.

Note on Side Gaps

1. It is normal for shades to have gaps on both sides. Because the fabric is smaller than the caete. This design allows the shade to roll up and down smoothly without obstruction.

2. If you want to achieve 100% blackout, we recommend picking our light-blocking strip.

Outside mount measuring instructions

1. Measure the Flat Surface

Measure the height of the top of the window frame. Ensure there is at least 3-6 inches of height to install the head rail.

2. Measure the Width

Measure the dimensions of the top window frame. To ensure complete coverage of your window, add at least 2 inches on each side.
3. Measure the Height

Measure the window frame at left, middle and bottom. Pick the largest measurement. To ensure complete coverage of your window, add at least 2 inches at the top and bottom.
