Measure & Install

Measure your window carefully before ordering. For inside mount, enter the exact window opening size and we will make the necessary deduction for a proper fit. For outside mount, add extra width and height for better coverage and light blocking.

Inside Mount: Measure the Width

  1. Measure the inside width of your window frame at the top, middle, and bottom.
  2. Use the narrowest measurement as your order width.
  3. If your measurement is not exactly on a 1/8" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8".
  4. Enter the exact window opening width. We will make the necessary deduction for a proper fit.

Inside Mount: Measure the Height

  1. Measure the inside height of your window frame at the left, middle, and right.
  2. Use the longest measurement as your order height.
  3. If your measurement is not exactly on a 1/8" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8".
  4. Enter this number as your order height.

Outside Mount: Measure the Width

  1. Measure the width of the area you want to cover.
  2. We recommend adding 3–6 inches total for better coverage and light blocking.
  3. Enter the final width as your order width.

Outside Mount: Measure the Height

  1. Measure from the top of where you want the shade to start to where you want it to end.
  2. We recommend adding 3 inches above the window frame if space allows.
  3. Enter the final height as your order height.

Inside Mount Depth Requirement

Minimum Depth 2"
Flush Mount Depth Standard: 3.5"
XL: 4"
Curved: 3"
If your window depth is not enough, the shade can still be installed, but the valance may protrude slightly from the window frame. Please do not make your own deductions for inside mount orders.
