Measure your window carefully before ordering. For inside mount, enter the exact window opening size and we will make the necessary deduction for a proper fit. For outside mount, add extra width and height for better coverage and light blocking.
Inside Mount: Measure the Width
- Measure the inside width of your window frame at the top, middle, and bottom.
- Use the narrowest measurement as your order width.
- If your measurement is not exactly on a 1/8" increment, round down to the nearest 1/8".
- Enter the exact window opening width. We will make the necessary deduction for a proper fit.
Inside Mount: Measure the Height
- Measure the inside height of your window frame at the left, middle, and right.
- Use the longest measurement as your order height.
- If your measurement is not exactly on a 1/8" increment, round up to the nearest 1/8".
- Enter this number as your order height.
Outside Mount: Measure the Width
- Measure the width of the area you want to cover.
- We recommend adding 3 inches total for better coverage and light blocking.
- Enter the final width as your order width.
Outside Mount: Measure the Height
- Measure from the top of where you want the shade to start to where you want it to end.
- We recommend adding 3 inches above the window frame if space allows.
- Enter the final height as your order height.

However, genuine measuring mistakes within ±1 inch per dimension may qualify for a one-time free remake under our FREE Measurement Assurance.

The curtains work great to block the sun. But the space I wanted to cover does not match any available sizes. So I got two thinking they would fit side by side, but that didn't work either. We worked around the problem by centering the curtain in the middle. And it works like a charm.

Before I review, I wanted to say pardon the mess, I am remodeling my bathroom. This shade is perfect for my needs. I didn't want it to be a complete black out, just something I can use behind a decorative curtain (eventually) to help insulate and provide privacy. My window is about 34''W x 36''L so I ordered a 33'' x 72''L as the only length offered was 72''? Having it be longer than the window doesn matter because you can easily stop it to your desired length. On the width, initially I had wished I had ordered the 34''so it would fit the window perfectly but after thinking about things more in depth, a curtain will cover the side gaps (which are small anyways) and it will leave my cats enough room to move the shade without having to claw at it to pull it to the side; they like to sit in the window. When I ordered this shade, I didn realize (or read) that the brackets are for inside/outside mount but for the inside mount, you install them from the top vs the side which means you don have to order a shade that a bit smaller than the window to accommodate for side brackets. I haven used this type of roller shade before, I just used the standard, cheaper one which uses the side mounts so I was kind of expecting there needing to be a gap for that reason. Anyways, I recommend it and feel as if it will last awhile. The window behind the shade had a crack in it so after having it installed, I have noticed a huge difference with hearing outside sounds and loss of heat/cool air.

It has been almost two weeks since I reported and wrote to you about this problem and so far nobody has shipped the replacing shade. Although it should have been easy to install, I didn’t have help which would have made it super easy. But if you are handy, you will have no problem. The fault is not in the design or the installation, it was with me who had a problem getting it level & getting the hardware in just exactly the right spot on my window - not too high and not too low! I got this for my business because the front office is West facing and during the afternoon gets way to hot and causes the A/C to run too much. I tried using some normal blinds to reduce the exposure but that didn't help a enough. I got this because of the light filtering and they did made a noticeable difference after a couple days. There effectiveness and installation both are really good. The appearance is also clean because cordless, but sometimes they have trouble stopping them where the want because with the corded style its much easier to control, but they will get use to using them, I am just glad the A/C runs less now.

The size of these are measured exactly so ordering accordingly. The brackets included are fast and easy to install, once mounted the shade pushed in to place and your done. The shades are balanced by tension and there is a knob that can be turned to stop it from rolling all the way up. The motion while pulling is very smooth and for the smaller width ones they can be pulled from anywhere with no issues of tilting or rolling funny. The fabric used provides a nice filter of light and the look inside or out is clean. This shade is very basic but will definitely provide a filter for any window exposed to constant sun.
